2013 Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG


 

Mercedes-Benz has finally introduced its AMG performance flagship the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG that Mercedes is bring to Geneva’s International Motor Show next month. Just like its predecessors, the latest AMG introduction will in its standard form deliver more power with 395kW on tap from its 5.5L twin-turbo V8 unit that Mercedes claims will be good enough for 4.3s 0-100km/h sprint with top speed of 250km/h or 4.2s 0-100km/h and 300km/h with Mercedes-Benz AMG optional performance package that also lifts the maximum power to 415kW. Furthermore, the all new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG will be significantly lighter than its predecessor thanks to more extensive use of aluminium in frame and body construction to deliver almost 125kg lighter result. Add Mercedes Benz AMG Speedshift MCT7 (seven-speed) transmission with four different driving modes and you get almost 30% improvements in fuel economy.  The all new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG will be officially unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2012.
